Sinners Screening on the Welty Lawn
The Eudora Welty House & Garden, in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society, is hosting a film screening of Sinners on Friday, October 30, at 6 p.m. The film’s visual style was influenced by Welty’s Depression-era photographs and Southern Gothic literary themes. Free popcorn, lemonade, and water will be available, with specialty cocktails for purchase. Headphones will be provided to reduce noise. Attendees are invited to bring their own picnic blankets and chairs, with 1930s vampire-inspired costumes encouraged. For more info, visit call 601-353-7762 or email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com.
