Preserving Religious Records

Join us for Preserving Religious Records, a free program to teach leaders and staff of faith-based organizations how to preserve valuable institutional documents, books, photographs, etc. The program will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums in Jackson. Registration is required and can be completed here. Laura Heller, MDAH acquisitions and collections coordinator, will give the presentation and explain the MDAH collection policy for specific historical items, namely paper documents. This program is made possible by a grant through Lilly Endowment's Religion and Cultural Institutions Initiative.
