The National Day of Racial Healing will take place on Tuesday, January 20. Free admission throughout the weekend provided by FedEx.

This 45-minute theatrical production performance by Meridian High School is based on the true story of the June 1964 Mississippi murders of three civil rights workers: James Chaney, Michael Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman. The play is written by Randy Ferino and co-directed by Meridian High School student Tyler Hopson.

The Two Mississippi Museums will partner with Foundation for the Mid South for a National Day of Racial Healing program during the lunch hour (11am to 1pm). This panel discussion on faith and philanthropy, honoring the life and legacy of Rims and Judy Barber, will take place in the auditorium. This program will also include free lunch provided by the Foundation for the Mid South - 4 - 5:30 p.m. Reflective Happy Hour
Two Mississippi Museums lobby
The Two Mississippi Museums will host a reflective happy hour (4-5:30pm) in the lobby for attendees to share stories and reflections on the legacies of Rims and Judy Barber. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation established the National Day of Racial Healing as a time to contemplate our shared values and promote building trust in communities.
