Mississippi Unbound: Race Against Time

Renowned investigative reporter Jerry Mitchell will join us for a live discussion featuring his new book, Race Against Time, the undercover story behind the reopenings of four notorious civil rights cases: the assassination of Medgar Evers in Jackson, the bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, the murders of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner in Neshoba County, and the fatal firebombing of Vernon Dahmer Sr. in Hattiesburg. The program will stream live from the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Facebook page on Thursday, October 29. Submit questions and comments about the book to info@twomississippimuseums.com by Monday, October 26.
