Admission to the Two Mississippi Museums is free every Sunday. This includes admission to the Hurricane Katrina: Mississippi Remembers, Photographs by Melody Golding on display through November 7. HORNE, a Ridgeland-based professional services firm, is the title sponsor of the exhibit.
Join the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG) for Welty Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, January 8. In honor of 1119 Pinehurst Street's 100-year anniversary, free admission will be offered every Wednesday, in addition to the long-standing tradition of free admission on the 13th of each month honoring Welty’s April 13 birthday.

At noon on Wednesday, January 14, author Aram Goudsouzian will present “Everybody Should Have Their March: Civil Rights and Black Power in 1966” as part of the History Is Lunch series. Goudsouzian will explore the turning point in the civil rights era when national civil rights leaders continued the “March Against Fear” after James Meredith was shot on the second day.
