History Is Lunch: Ted Atkinson, "Developing a Cultural Region: Mississippi in/and the TVA"
At noon on Wednesday, December 3, author Ted Atkinson will present Monumental Designs: Infrastructure and the Culture of the Tennessee Valley Authority as part of the History Is Lunch series. Atkinson, associate professor at Mississippi State University, will explore representations of the power and influence of the TVA in books, film and art from the New Deal era to the present. This program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums and will stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel.
