The Harvest Screening
Join us for a screening of The Harvest at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, at the Two Mississippi Museums. Directed by Sam Pollard and Douglas Blackmon, the documentary tells the story of the fight to integrate schools in Leland, Mississippi, during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. A Q&A with Douglas Blackmon will follow the screening. Doors open at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., courtesy of the Mississippi Humanities Council.
