Gallery Talk: Solidarity Now

Join us at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, at the Two Mississippi Museums for a Solidary Now! 1968 Poor People's Campaign gallery talk. Drew Gardner, a museum educator, will explain how the Poor People's Campaign brought national attention to the associated problems of poverty and hunger. Rebecca Butz, a registered dietitian at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Ambulatory EversCare Clinic, will explain how the clinic—named for civil rights leader Myrlie Evers—works to improve patients' health by addressing social needs such as food insecurity.
