Discovery Week Summer Camp

Join us for Discovery Week Camp at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians from  9 a.m. to noon, June 15–19 and June 22–26. Activities will include nature hikes; games such as stickball, chunkey, and archery; and crafts including pottery, basketry, and beading. Native American demonstrators will also provide special presentations.

The June 15–19 session is geared towards ages 8–12, and the June 22–26 session is geared towards ages 5–7. All activities will take place at the pavilion, green spaces, and auditorium at Grand Village. Campers are encouraged to bring their own refreshments. Attendance is limited to twenty-five campers per week. Registration is $50. To register, email info@natchezgrandvillage.com or call 601-446-6502.

Welty Wednesdays

Join the Eudora Welty House & Garden (EWHG) for Welty Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, January 8. In honor of 1119 Pinehurst Street's 100-year anniversary, free admission will be offered every Wednesday, in addition to the long-standing tradition of free admission on the 13th of each month honoring Welty’s April 13 birthday.

Paint & Sip

May 7, 2026, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Eudora Welty House & Garden will host a two-hour guided painting class with wine and light refreshments on Thursday, May 7, at 5:30 p.m. All painting supplies will be provided by MDAH for a materials fee of $25. Payment can be made by calling the Welty House or at the front desk on the day of the program.

Free Sundays at the Two Mississippi Museums
