Beading Workshop at Grand Village

Join us for a free Beading Workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians. Casey Bigpond of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians will teach participants how to make traditional-style beaded earrings. Materials will be provided. Join us for an exciting week as we travel back to the 1960s and explore how Mississippi helped shape the Space Race, music, and major cultural change. Campers will learn through hands-on activities, stories, and creative projects that bring history to life. These sessions take place on July 6 –16 in the Pete Spiro Classroom at the Two Mississippi Museums.
