Welty at Home: A Room with A View

Starting Monday, May 6, we will spend several weeks reading and discussing E.M. Forster's 1908 novel, A Room with A View. Discussions will be co-led by Suzanne Marrs, professor emerita at Millsaps College and Welty's friend and biographer, and guest instructor Kelly Marsh, professor of English at Mississippi State University. Marsh teaches courses on British and Irish literature since 1900, contemporary literature, women’s literature, and narrative theory. She is a Faculty Associate with MSU’s Center for Teaching and Learning, and the winner of the 2016 Grisham Master Teacher Award.

Please note that we will be referencing page numbers in the Penguin Classics edition; however, any text will do.

If you received emails for previous Welty at Home book clubs, you are already registered for this free event and will begin receiving emails for this series weekly on Fridays starting Friday, April 26. Otherwise, please email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com to request the sign-up link to receive the weekly emails with the Zoom links and recordings.
