Activities include behind-the-scenes tours of historic buildings and living history on the grounds. Live music and food vendors will be on site. Thursday, October 25, 6:30 p.m.–9 p.m. at Historic Jefferson College. Ghost Tales Around the Campfire & Halloween Duck Hunt. Families are invited out to listen to (not too scary) ghost tales, related by local story tellers, while gathered around a blazing bonfire. Afterwards, children can search the grounds and buildings for rubber ducks, which they get to keep. Families should bring a blanket, flashlight, and bag. There is no charge for this program. Saturday, October 27, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at Historic Jefferson College. Black and Blue Civil War Program. A day of living history will be held at the eleventh annual Black and Blue Civil War program. The program will be held on the grounds of Historic Jefferson College, and will move inside the historic West Wing in case of rain. Bring chairs or blankets.
