Saturday, May 12, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians. Arts and Crafts Workshop: Applique Beadwork. Lance Harris, director of the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians, will lead a workshop on applique beadwork. Harris will provide a brief synopsis of American Indian beadwork, focused on works made using the two needle applique method. Following the presentation, participants will be taught to create their own beadwork using the two needle applique method. Space is limited and the cost is $20.
