January 22–August 15, at the Eudora Welty House and Garden. At Home and Away; A Rotating Selection of Correspondence. Eudora Welty was an avid letter writer. When Welty died in 2001, over 15,000 letters and ephemera were found in her home. The selection in our third installation features correspondence between Welty and friends, colleagues, and acquaintances, demonstrating both the breadth of her contacts and the depths of her connection to the city of Jackson. This exhibit features a new rotation of letters every six months and transitions from general correspondence to letters from some of her close friends. This exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, call 601-353-7762 or email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com.
