Board of Registered Professional Geologists
The Board of Registered Professional Geologists was established in 1997 and charged with determining those areas of geology that impact the public's health, safety, and welfare. The Board, through its Rules and Regulations of Procedure, guidance and recommendations, and registration process, ensures that each of its registrants is qualified to practice the geologic profession in the state of Mississippi. Each year the Board publishes a report that summarizes the agency’s activities for the fiscal year July 1 to June 30. The Department of Archives and History has electronic (PDF) reports from 2009.
