Spirits of the Passage: The Story of the Transatlantic Slave Trade
February 2–August 11 at the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. Spirits of the Passage: The Story of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. A new exhibit at the Two Mississippi Museums showcases rare artifacts from the wreckage of a sunken slave ship. Along with 125 rarely seen artifacts from West Africa, Europe, and the Americas, the exhibit includes a replica of the once-crowded hull of the Henrietta Marie.
